Dragonskin 2014 – April 2014

Dragonskin is only a 10 days away now and preparations are well underway.

Registrations:
Registrations for non-members have now closed.

Registrations for members close tomorrow! If you haven’t already GET ONTO IT. Bathurst and 4th Gong in particular:)

Cash: Can be paid at our regular VOC meeting.

VOC T-Shirts:
VOC T-Shirts are back! Once again designed by the very talented Cherie Mable, the design is attached. Shirts will be $15 and can be purchased from Rose Stevens at the next two meetings and at Dragonskin. Get in quick and make sure you dont miss out.

Alcohol:
As you are all aware – there is to be no alcohol consumed from midnight Thursday 28th April through until the VOC Commander cracks a beer on Monday Afternoon. This is a zero tolerance policy and you will be sent home.

Phone Reception:

Essentially non-existent, I’d bring a magazine. Having said that, the crowd management policy being in place this year should reduce the downtime at the start of the event.

A few reminders for you all:
1. You need an esky to get your food for the day… minimum of 55L required (Ask Narwee what happened theirs in 2012)

2. Don’t forget to bring lots of socks and wet weather gear. This is our first time back in the Mountains since 2010 – it’s likely to rain!

3. Your activity needs to have a first aid kit, minimum 40L of water, and a shelter for at least 4 venturer teams.
