2013 Roventure: Medieval Madness
Roventure was held on the 19th-20th of April and is an annual competition held by SC&T Rovers. This year’s theme was Medieval Madness and battling against the weather we competed in a host of medieval activities including Catapult Siege Warfare, Armour Construction, Archery, ‘Pimp Thy Ride’ and Capture the Flag. Sunday was met with a heated match of watermelon football with all players managing to slip and slide toward the tri line.
It was great to get to know the Venturers of the region and we can’t wait for Roventure next year which will be held on the weekend of the 14th-16th of March, 2014. A big thank you goes out to Daniel Seddon-Powell for organising the Roventure and to Mt Keira Guide Camp for letting us use their facilities.
The next Rover-Venturer weekend organised by SC&T Rovers will be our Annual Region Caving Weekend held at Wee Jasper on the 5th-7th of July. And of course, thanks to all the Rovers and Venturers who came along and had a blast.
